Water to Blood

Here is one of my pieces that I created in Advanced Illustration. It is the first plague of the ten plagues of Egypt that is the clear blue of water transferring to the crimson color of blood. My thought process while creating this piece was tyring to make it to where the water is being surrounded by blood in a whirlpool motion as if the water is being drained to the point where it is never seen again. I made this with the use of Procreate on the iPad Pro, and Illustrator on the laptop.
